Programmes between Norway and the Sahel

GIVE organises all activities in four programme areas. Together they link youth resilience, living heritage, research and concrete mobility opportunities for Indigenous and displaced youth.

Overview of GIVE’s four programme areas

🌱

Youth resilience & safe spaces

Circles, creative workshops and quiet spaces where young people in movement can breathe, express themselves and feel recognised.

🧵

Living heritage & crafts

Crafts, textiles and Indigenous knowledge, linked to ethical value chains and local livelihoods in partnership with Æternex and artisan networks.

📚

Research, training & documentation

Collaborative projects with universities, museums and community organisations to document youth experiences and co-design learning tools.

🎓

Scholarships & mobility

Small grants, mentoring and guidance for Indigenous and displaced youth who need support to access studies and cross-border opportunities.

Youth resilience & safe spaces

This programme focuses on young people whose lives are impacted by displacement, border regimes and climate pressure.

Living heritage & crafts

Research, training & documentation

GIVE works as a bridge between communities and institutions.

Scholarships & mobility pathways

This programme supports young people who need concrete help to access education.
